Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician (MMPT)
Overview
This course provides skills, knowledge and accreditation to the pharmacy technician to allow them to develop their role as a medicine management technician.
The course will help to develop skills that will assist with the prudent use of medicines for both the patient and the healthcare setting.

Eligibility
- Registered pharmacy technicians with access to an educational supervisor.
- Applicants must work in a medicine management led practice with locally agreed SOPs in place.
- Applicants must obtain endorsement from their supervising pharmacy manager.
- Completion of online application form.
Pre-course activities
Before attending the workshop, candidates must:
- Complete the online eLearning package
- Familiarise themselves with the Medicines Management process in place within their area of work.
